'How to Wear Hats' by Madeleine Millinery

The first ever Salisbury Fashion Fortnight  was kicked off by a superb event from the wonderful Madeleine Millinery. The event was held at Boston Tea Party, one of Salisbury's best local cafes. Madeline spoke about 'How to Wear Hats' and then ladies (and gents!) were given the chance to try on her beautiful designs. I was thrilled to be there capturing the event for Salisbury Fashion Fortnight as one of only two associated photographers on the event.

Shane & Samantha

Sam & Shane were married in Salisbury this August. It started as a rainy day with umbrellas at the ready, but quickly turned into a beautiful English Summer day. Perfect for a traditional English wedding, with Sam preparing at her family home before heading to the church.

As part of their wedding package Sam & Shane commissioned thank you cards, so I brought along my lovely little black board to capture images especially for the 'thank you's. Of course, you can choose any words you like! 'Mr & Mrs', 'She Said Yes', your new married name....the possibilities are endless! If you'd like me to bring along my black board for creative shots just let me know!

Their reception was held at Salisbury Playhouse, a truly unique venue for a wedding. The Playhouse  also provided excellent catering with a wonderful afternoon tea and evening buffet. For brides looking for an unusual reception venue in Salisbury city centre I would highly recommend it!

Thank you!

Hello reader, it's nice to have you here. Thank you for stopping by. I know I've been a bit rubbish at blogging of late, but that's because it's been a frantic three weeks and now I have lots to blog and show and tell! So look out for more posts soon!

This morning I thought I'd show you these lovely thank you postcards my last couple asked for. I think they work really nicely to drop friends and family a line to say thanks after their big day. The added touch of the black board allows them to really get the message across!

If you'd be interested in having thank you postcards, or greetings cards; or you'd like to experiment with using props in your portrait shoot get in touch!
